Company Intelligence Launch

We're thrilled to introduce Company Intelligence β€” Glide's most requested feature and a fundamentally new way to research employers before you invest time in an application.

Job searching has always been a one-sided information problem. You write a cover letter, tailor your resume, prep for interviews β€” all while knowing surprisingly little about the company beyond their careers page. Company Intelligence flips that dynamic entirely.

What you get:

  • Funding & Financial Overview β€” See the latest funding rounds, total capital raised, reported revenue, and valuation history. Instantly know whether a startup is well-funded or burning through runway, and whether a public company's stock has been trending up or down
  • Headcount Trends β€” Visualize how a company's workforce has changed over the past 24 months. A company adding 200 engineers is a very different signal than one quietly laying off 15% of its team β€” and now you'll see it before you apply
  • Talent Flow Analysis β€” Understand where employees are coming from and where they go when they leave. If half of a company's engineering departures end up at the same competitor, that tells you something valuable
  • Culture & Sentiment Scores β€” Aggregated Glassdoor and Blind ratings, broken down by department, with trends over time. We surface work-life balance scores, management approval, compensation satisfaction, and career growth sentiment
  • Leadership Changes β€” Track C-suite and VP-level hires and departures over the past 12 months. Leadership churn is one of the strongest predictors of internal instability, and now it's visible at a glance
  • Real-Time News Feed β€” Relevant press mentions, product launches, partnerships, and regulatory filings pulled from 500+ sources and refreshed every 6 hours

Company Intelligence is available for over 50,000 employers in our database. Data refreshes continuously, so you're always seeing the most current picture. Access is included on all plans β€” no upgrade required.

Meet Looper β€” Your AI Career Assistant

Say hello to Looper, Glide's conversational AI assistant built to answer any career question you throw at it β€” instantly, accurately, and with full context from your profile.

Looper lives inside the Glide chat interface and understands your resume, your saved jobs, your salary data, and your search preferences. It's not a generic chatbot β€” it's a career advisor that actually knows who you are.

What Looper can do:

  • Answer career questions β€” Ask things like "Am I qualified for this role?", "What salary should I ask for?", or "How does this company compare to the one I interviewed at last week?" and get answers grounded in real data from your Glide profile
  • Prep you for interviews β€” Tell Looper the company and role, and it generates likely interview questions based on the job description, the company's interview style (sourced from public reviews), and your experience gaps
  • Explain job listings β€” Paste any job description and Looper breaks down the actual day-to-day responsibilities, required vs. nice-to-have qualifications, and potential red flags in the language
  • Draft outreach messages β€” Need to message a recruiter or hiring manager on LinkedIn? Looper writes personalized, non-generic messages that reference specific things about the role and your background
  • Compare offers β€” Working through multiple offers? Looper can build a structured comparison factoring in base salary, equity, benefits, commute, growth trajectory, and company stability

Looper is available to all users with up to 25 conversations per day on the free plan. Pro users get unlimited conversations and priority response times.

AI Job Matching v2

Our AI matching engine just received its biggest upgrade since launch. Version 2 is a ground-up rebuild of how Glide understands your profile, interprets job listings, and ranks results β€” and the difference is immediately noticeable.

The core problem we solved: v1 was good at keyword matching but struggled with context. If your resume said "React" but a job asked for "frontend engineering," it sometimes missed the connection. V2 introduces a semantic understanding layer that grasps these relationships natively.

What's new:

  • Contextual Skill Parsing β€” We now understand nuanced skill relationships and hierarchies. If you have React experience, Glide knows you likely understand JavaScript, JSX, component architecture, and state management β€” without you needing to list each one. This alone increased relevant match rates by 34% in our testing
  • Real-Time Feedback Loop β€” Every interaction you take β€” thumbs-up, thumbs-down, save, skip, apply β€” now trains your personal matching model within seconds, not hours. The more you use Glide, the faster it zeroes in on exactly what you want
  • Industry-Aware Ranking β€” A "Product Manager" role at a fintech company is fundamentally different from one at a healthcare startup. V2 weights matches by industry context, seniority signals, and domain-specific terminology so you see the most relevant roles first
  • Faster Results β€” We re-architected our matching pipeline to run on edge nodes closer to our data sources. Matching latency dropped by 60%, which means you see freshly posted jobs within minutes β€” not hours β€” of them going live
  • Duplicate Detection β€” The same role posted across 4 job boards now appears once in your feed, with all sources linked. No more scrolling past the same Senior Engineer listing from LinkedIn, Indeed, Wellfound, and the company's own site
  • Confidence Scoring β€” Each match now shows a confidence percentage so you can see exactly how strong the fit is. Roles above 85% confidence have a 3.2x higher apply-to-interview conversion rate based on our data

If you've been using Glide for a while, you'll notice your matches getting sharper almost immediately. New users will see strong personalization within their first 10–15 interactions.

AI Interview Preparation

Interviewing is where opportunities are won or lost β€” and most candidates go in underprepared. Glide's new AI Interview Prep module gives you a structured, personalized way to practice before every conversation.

What's included:

  • Role-Specific Question Banks β€” For each saved job, Glide generates 15–25 likely interview questions based on the job description, the company's known interview format, and the seniority level. Questions span behavioral, technical, situational, and culture-fit categories
  • Mock Interview Mode β€” Practice answering questions out loud with real-time AI feedback on your response structure, clarity, and completeness. The AI evaluates whether you used the STAR method effectively, included quantifiable results, and addressed the actual question asked
  • Company Research Briefs β€” Before each interview, Glide compiles a one-page brief covering the company's recent news, product launches, competitive landscape, and any publicly known challenges. Walk in knowing more than the interviewer expects
  • Weakness Analysis β€” Based on your profile and the job requirements, Glide identifies the 2–3 areas where you're most likely to face tough questions and suggests strategies for addressing them honestly without undermining your candidacy
  • Follow-Up Templates β€” After the interview, generate a personalized thank-you email that references specific conversation points (you fill in the details, Glide structures the message)

Early users of Interview Prep report a 40% increase in confidence going into interviews and a measurably higher callback rate for second-round invitations.

Real-Time Salary Market Data

One of the biggest frustrations in job searching is not knowing what a role actually pays. Many listings hide compensation, and even when they show a range, it's often so wide it's meaningless. Glide now surfaces live salary data sourced from verified compensation reports, public filings, and anonymized user submissions β€” so you see what people are genuinely earning, not what recruiters claim.

Salary data appears automatically on every job listing in your feed and on Company Intelligence profiles. No extra steps required.

Here's what's included:

  • Percentile Breakdowns β€” See exactly where your current or target salary falls relative to the market. We show 25th, 50th, 75th, and 90th percentile figures for your specific role, level, and location. If a company offers you $145K and the 75th percentile is $168K, you'll know there's room to negotiate
  • Location-Adjusted Figures β€” Compensation data is normalized for cost-of-living differences across 400+ cities worldwide, including adjustments for fully remote roles. A $130K offer in Austin hits differently than one in San Francisco β€” and now you can see exactly how differently
  • 12-Month Trend Lines β€” Track how compensation for your target role has shifted over the past year. Some roles are seeing 8–12% annual growth while others have plateaued. This context helps you time your moves and set realistic expectations
  • Negotiation Benchmarks β€” We generate data-backed salary ranges you can bring into your next offer conversation. Each benchmark includes the data sample size and confidence interval so you know how reliable the numbers are
  • Equity & Benefits Context β€” For roles at startups and public tech companies, we show reported equity grants, vesting schedules, and notable benefits (401k match, signing bonuses, RSU refresh grants) alongside base salary data

Salary data covers over 12,000 role titles across 35 industries. Data freshness varies by market, but most figures are based on reports from the past 90 days. We'll continue expanding coverage and granularity throughout the year.

Dashboard Redesign

We've completely redesigned the Glide dashboard to give you a clearer, faster overview of your job search progress. The new layout is built around the actions that matter most β€” reviewing matches, tracking applications, and staying on top of deadlines.

Key changes:

  • Activity Feed β€” The center of your dashboard is now a real-time feed showing new job matches, application status changes, saved job updates, and upcoming interview reminders. Everything that needs your attention is in one place
  • Application Pipeline β€” A new kanban-style board lets you track every application across stages: Saved β†’ Applied β†’ Interviewing β†’ Offer β†’ Accepted/Declined. Drag cards between columns as your process progresses
  • Weekly Insights Card β€” Every Monday, your dashboard surfaces a summary of the past week: how many jobs you viewed, how many you applied to, your match score trend, and any notable salary data changes for your target roles
  • Quick Actions Bar β€” One-click access to your most common workflows: generate a resume, start an interview prep session, search for a new role, or ask Looper a question
  • Faster Load Times β€” The dashboard now loads 2.4x faster thanks to lazy-loading non-critical components and pre-fetching your top matches in the background

The redesign is rolling out to all users starting today. Your data, saved jobs, and application history carry over automatically β€” nothing to migrate.

New Feature

Smart Resume Builder

Tailoring your resume to each job application is one of the most tedious parts of the job search. You know you should do it β€” hiring managers and ATS systems reward relevance β€” but rewriting bullet points for the 30th time is soul-crushing. Our new Smart Resume Builder eliminates that friction entirely.

Paste a job description (or just drop in a Glide job link), and our AI analyzes the role requirements, maps them against your profile, and generates a tailored resume that puts your most relevant experience front and center.

How it works:

  • Job-Specific Tailoring β€” The AI reads the job description, identifies the key skills and qualifications the employer is looking for, and restructures your resume to lead with matching experience. It rewrites bullet points to mirror the language and priorities in the listing β€” without fabricating anything
  • ATS Optimization β€” Over 75% of large companies use Applicant Tracking Systems that filter resumes before a human ever sees them. Smart Resume Builder ensures your document passes these filters by matching keywords, using ATS-friendly formatting, and avoiding common pitfalls like tables, headers, and multi-column layouts that confuse parsers
  • Multiple Export Formats β€” Export your finished resume as a clean PDF, an editable DOCX, or a shareable Glide link with built-in analytics (see when someone opens it and how long they spend on each section)
  • Version History & Tracking β€” Every generated resume is automatically saved and tagged with the job it was created for. You'll always know which version you sent to which company, and you can revisit or refine any past version at any time
  • Section Suggestions β€” If the AI detects a gap between your profile and the job requirements, it suggests ways to address it β€” whether that's adding a relevant side project, reframing existing experience, or highlighting transferable skills you might have overlooked

Free plan users get 5 smart resumes per month. Pro plan includes unlimited resumes, priority generation, and access to premium templates designed by professional resume writers.

New Feature

Smart Job Alerts

Checking Glide multiple times a day for new matches? You shouldn't have to. Smart Job Alerts bring the best opportunities directly to your inbox β€” on your schedule, filtered to your standards.

Unlike basic keyword alerts from job boards, Glide's alerts use your full AI matching profile. You won't get spammed with irrelevant listings just because they contain the word "engineer."

How alerts work:

  • Personalized Digest Emails β€” Receive a daily or weekly email with your top new matches, ranked by confidence score. Each listing includes the role title, company, salary estimate, match percentage, and a one-click apply link
  • Threshold Controls β€” Set a minimum match confidence (e.g., only alert me for 80%+ matches) so you're only notified about genuinely strong fits. Adjust the threshold any time from your settings
  • Instant Alerts for Top Matches β€” For matches above 90% confidence, get an optional push notification within minutes of the job being posted. Early applicants are 3x more likely to get a response, and this gives you that edge
  • Alert Channels β€” Choose between email, browser notifications, or both. We're working on Slack and Telegram integrations for Q1 2026
  • Snooze & Pause β€” Taking a break from your search? Pause all alerts with one click, and resume when you're ready. No need to unsubscribe and re-subscribe

Smart Job Alerts are free for all users. Configure your preferences from Settings β†’ Notifications.

11.05.25
Fix

Performance & Reliability Improvements

This release focuses on speed, stability, and squashing bugs reported by our early users. No flashy new features β€” just a faster, more reliable Glide.

What we fixed:

  • Search Speed β€” Job search queries now return results in under 400ms (down from 1.2s average). We migrated our search index to a distributed architecture that scales with query volume
  • Login Reliability β€” Fixed an intermittent issue where OAuth sessions expired prematurely, forcing users to re-authenticate multiple times per day. Sessions now persist for 30 days with silent refresh
  • Mobile Layout Fixes β€” Resolved 14 reported layout issues on iOS Safari and Android Chrome, including overlapping text on job cards, unresponsive filter dropdowns, and a broken scroll behavior on the matches page
  • Memory Leak in Match Feed β€” The match feed was gradually consuming more browser memory the longer it stayed open, eventually causing tab crashes after ~2 hours. Identified and patched the root cause in our virtual scrolling implementation
  • Email Deliverability β€” Some users weren't receiving verification emails or alert digests. We migrated our transactional email infrastructure to a dedicated IP pool with proper SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, improving deliverability from 87% to 99.2%
  • Accessibility Improvements β€” Added proper ARIA labels to all interactive elements, improved keyboard navigation throughout the app, and ensured color contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards across all pages

Thank you to everyone who reported issues through the feedback widget. Keep them coming β€” every report helps us make Glide better.

Glide Public Beta Launch

Today we're opening Glide to the world. After six months of private alpha testing with 2,000+ users, we're confident that Glide is ready for a wider audience β€” and we're incredibly excited to see what you think.

What is Glide?

Glide is an AI-powered career platform that rethinks how people find jobs. Instead of endlessly scrolling through job boards, you tell Glide what you're looking for β€” your ideal role, industry, salary range, location preferences, and career goals β€” and our AI does the rest. It scans thousands of listings across the web, scores them against your profile, and surfaces the best matches in a clean, focused feed.

What's included in the beta:

  • AI Job Matching β€” Our core matching engine analyzes your skills, experience, and preferences to find roles you'd actually want. No more wading through irrelevant postings
  • Unified Job Feed β€” We aggregate listings from 30+ sources including LinkedIn, Indeed, Wellfound, Greenhouse, Lever, and company career pages. One feed, no duplicates
  • Profile Builder β€” Import your LinkedIn profile or upload a resume, and Glide builds a structured profile that powers your matches. Edit and refine it any time
  • Save & Track β€” Bookmark jobs, organize them into lists, and track your application status as you progress through each company's pipeline
  • Glide Score β€” Every listing gets a match score from 0–100 based on how well it fits your profile. Roles above 75 are worth a serious look; roles above 90 are near-perfect fits

The beta is free and includes full access to all features. We'll introduce paid plans with premium capabilities in early 2026, but the core matching experience will always have a generous free tier.

We built Glide because we've been through the job search grind ourselves, and we believe it can be radically better. Welcome aboard β€” and please don't hesitate to share your feedback. We're listening.
